All our made to measure curtains are sold singularly unless otherwise stated.
Once we have your window measurements, we will double it to give you the correct fullness.
HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH OF A WINDOW:
Measure the width of the recess of the window from the right to left and add between 6-12ins (15-30cms) either side so that the curtains pull back off the window.
HOW TO MEASURE THE LENGTH OF A WINDOW:
Measure the recess of the window from top to bottom then add the amount above and below that you wish the curtains to cover. We suggest the top of the curtains to be midway between the top of the window and the ceiling/coving. For Short Curtains - 6ins (15cm) below the sill or 1/2in (1.5cm) above the carpet or floor for Long Curtains.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAINS HANGING FROM A POLE:
Measure the length of the pole then measure the drop by placing your metal tapemeasure into the metal eye of the bottom of the ring to the required length.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR TAB TOP CURTAINS:
These should be measured from the top of the pole. We will also need the diameter of the pole.
HOW TO MEASURE FOR CURTAINS HANGING FROM A TRACK:
Measure the length of the track for width then measure from the top of the track for the length.
MEASURING FOR BLINDS:
All our blinds are custom made so the measurements must be accurate. Measure the width and height of the recess of the window in several places in case the window varies and give us the smallest measurement. If you require the blinds to be outside the recess, add on the height above the window where you want the blind to be fitted and the amount either side of the window, depending how wide your sill is.
